Corinne has been dancing since childhood. Her first contact with dance was at the age of 3 when she would assist her older sister`s ballet classes. She would spend the entire class in the arm of the teacher’s arm, Lavinia William, one of the great African American dancers. Ever since dancing was a big part of her life. From Folklorique Haitian dance to ballet fallowed by modern, flamenco and finally Latin dances, she tried them all. She spent 5 years at Pierre-Laporte high school, where she dance every day and solidify her love for dance. In 2001 she discovered Salsa and never looked back. She participated in numerous Salsa congresses and competitions. In 2009, she won both of the biggest salsa competition in Canada, the Extreme salsa competition at the Montréal salsa convention and the Canada salsa congress in Toronto giving her a place at the World Salsa Championship where she finished in the top 10 in the “on 1“ division. Throughout her dance career, she did hundreds of shows and taught hundreds of classes. In 2012 she became a Zumba instructor. She now teaches all latin dances (salsa, bachata, chacha etc) and Fitness classes (Zumba, body design etc).
